Structural reform

​

         In view of the fact that there have been more members than there is work to be distributed and for the sake of members’ meaningful participation, fewer member will be recruited this year.  Adjustments will also be made in the ratio of members from different forms, so that F.3 and F.4 students will be given opportunities to participate in the work of the Secretariat.

Work distribution system

​

        The Secretariat aims to strengthen members’ familiarity with the working procedures with the help of a work distribution system.  The work distribution system will be launched through Google Forms which every member can access providing information about different tasks with clear accompanying instructions.  Moreover, tasks will be distributed to members according to their strengths and talents.

Monthly meetings

 

 

Regular meetings will help members understand the function and operations of the Secretariat.  Training will be given in handling different tasks.  Post event evaluations will be carried out for system feedback and improvement purpose.  If a member is absent from meetings for three times he will be penalised or expelled.

Design workshop

​

Unlike other schools, all the design of the products procured by the Secretariat come from our home-grown designers. To pass on this wonderful tradition, a design workshop will be held to ensure that there is a continuous supply of competent designers.  During the workshop, experienced F.5 designers will teach the basic design skills to our new members, such as the use of Adobe Creative Suite.  We believe that the creative abilities of Lasallians will be unleashed in this workshop.
